Refurbishment, new build and planning

Purchased this disused Public House in 2002.

The Pub had two previous residential planning submissions turned down. A very personal approach taken to resubmission taking particular care of the council’s concerns on the effect on the adjacent conservation area.  A new building was erected in the previous garden.

Permission granted for 10 flats total area 10,000 sq ft in 2003.  Build completed December 2004.  GDV 3.3m.

“…this proposal is clearly carefully drafted, with great attention to detail, in planning terms and more generally.”
