Stour Street PLanning Recommendation

Purchased 2013 Freehold office building B1 Use with lapsed planning for conversion to 6 houses.

A grade 11 listed property very close to the pedestrianised Parade in Central Canterbury, Kent.

Initially, changes were made to substantially improve rental income.

Research at the Canterbury Cathedral archives revealed that historically the building had been a series of linked houses and a planning application was submitted in 2016 for conversion to 5 houses. This added weight for its conversion.

Permission was sought and approved in 2016.

A material start was obtained in 2019.  Archaeology conditions passed.
